ROTARIES

this sweetheart here is a Western Electric Model 500 phone in the colorway Cherry Red. It's an absolute classic, the actual function of the dialer is very satisfying and the typeface chosen for the numbers is adorable. Phones like this were popular for around forty years, so they're not a wild goose chase to find due to their abundance, and are still used in some establishments today. Because of its simple charm, I hope to someday own at least 5, and they can all be friends.here is one i found on ebay!

This one is so fascinating to me! I can only find a little bit of information about it, from an auction page that seems defunct. It's a gumball machine that was converted into a phone, and according to the seller, it still functions as both!!!! That makes me so joyful. They also speak about there being no information on the gumball machine part, but the phone was a 1970s Paul Nelson. All novelty phones are beautiful but this one's diy spirit is so sweet to me....

TOUCH-TONES/PUSH-BUTTONS

of course, i'm gonna start this section off with lovely Rebecca! I got her at an antique mall for 33 USD. There is a lot of information to be found on her back! She was manufactured in 1979 by GTE Automatic Electric and has a sticker still on her from a sale made in 1984. She seems to be either a wall phone or a desk phone depending on preference. On her face, there is a phone number still attached, but I don't think one can call it anymore:(
